The challenge
Fleet drivers with electric company cars need to find a compatible, free charge point on the road, know what it costs and start charging fast. Every wasted stop costs the driver time and the fleet money.
What we built
Native apps for the company's business fleet customers. Drivers find charge points near them or at their destination, compare price and availability, navigate there and start charging without taking out a card.
What it does
- Interactive map of charge points nearby or at the destination
- Search by connector type, charging power, price, distance and availability
- Price, opening hours and operator for every charge point
- Navigation straight to the chosen station
- Charging started and stopped from the app, without a card
- Alerts before idle fees apply, and a filter for electric trucks
The result
Fleet drivers find a working charge point, see its price and start charging from their phone, in seven languages.
The app grows with the network: new charging partners, truck charging and fee alerts arrive as regular releases.
How we built it
Native Swift and Kotlin with clean architecture, MVVM and dependency injection, so new features ship without breaking existing ones.
Automated tests with XCTest and JUnit run before every release; charging data follows the OCPI roaming standard.
